What is it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It is a peelable elastic varnish, special for the conservation of metallic pieces of aluminium, copper, silver, etc., during their storage or transport, avoiding their deterioration due to scratches or the action of atmospheric agents, before their final treatment.
\nPROTEX is made up of polyvinyl acetate polymers with a series of additives that, when dry, give it high elasticity. This makes it easily removable from any type of metal surface, simply by pulling the plastic film formed.
\nPROTEX is a chemically very stable product that does not affect any type of metal support where it is applied, so it does not leave any type of residue on the piece.
\nPROTEX is ideal for storing parts, since when it dries it leaves the metal surface covered with a plastic film that isolates it from the outside. This film is hard and resistant to bumps and scratches.<\/p>\n

How is it used?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

PROTEX is applied as it comes in the container, using a brush, roller or spray gun, as required, depending on the parts to be treated. It can also be used diluted with 25% water when a high quality coating is not required.
\nOnce the operation has been carried out, wait until the product dries completely, which gives rise to a change in the color of the PROTEX plastic coating, going from milky-white to pale pink. When the part is to be used again, simply remove the plastic film by pulling on the surface. It will come off without leaving any kind of residue.
\nPROTEX is very easily removed from work tools by cleaning them with water before they dry.<\/p>\n

Where does it apply?<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

To protect materials that are going to be placed in the works, such as aluminum windows, railings, elevator frames, etc.
\nFor the protection of decorative objects made of silver, aluminium, bronze, copper, nickel silver, etc., during transport or prolonged storage.
\nTo protect mechanical parts against rust.
\nIn the insulation of metal parts against corrosion before being painted.
\nIn the maritime transport of iron parts, as a protector against the corrosive environment of the maritime environment.
\nIn the storage of boats during the winter, etc.<\/p>\n
