What is it?

GALVALU (A) is a zinc coating with aluminium metallic finish and direct adhesion on different substrates; galvanised iron, steel and other metallic surfaces, allowing fast applications and touch-up painting. It is fast drying, so painted surfaces can be put into operation in a very short time.
GALVALU (A) is highly resistant to atmospheric agents and pollutants, providing anticorrosive protection to the treated surfaces.
GALVALU (A) contains levelling additives that distribute the paint films evenly, and is packaged in an environmentally friendly, ozone-depleting propellant.

How is it applied?

Before applying GALVALU (A) clean the surface to be treated of grease and rust and apply a fine-grained sanding.
Shake the aerosol vigorously for at least 3 minutes, checking that the inner ball is completely released.
First clean the aerosol diffusion system (nozzle and cannula) by inverting the container and pressing the button for a couple of seconds.
With the aerosol in vertical position (valve upwards), apply the product in short bursts on the surface to be treated, at a distance of about 20-30 cm. To obtain an optimum finish,
Once the application is finished, invert the aerosol again and operate the push button until the product outlet nozzle is clean.
The performance depends on the surface, as a guideline:
– Galvanised iron: 0.6-1.8 m²/Kg (0.7 to 0.8 m²/aerosol).
– Iron: 0.4-0.5 m²/Kg (0.2-0.3 m²/aerosol).
In order to improve the application results, we recommend applying thin, uniform coats successively, respecting a drying time of 15-30 minutes per coat, interspersed with cleaning bursts.
To remove stains from the product, use toluene or xylene as a solvent.
