What is it?

PROTEC-ION E is made up of a mixture of salts and special cements, extremely fast setting.
PROTEC-ION E quickly adheres to wet porous materials, such as concrete, mortar, brick, fiber cement, etc., penetrating their pores and forming chemical and mechanical bonds that allow them to withstand hydraulic loads.
PROTEC-ION E is non-toxic. Once cured, it has the same durability as cement or building materials.

How is it used?

Knead the amount of product to be used with water, until a pasty consistency is achieved. Knead only the material to be used in 4 minutes.
PROTEC-ION E is applied by hand, directly on the leak, crack or surface to be repaired, going over it with a trowel or spatula. Keep the surface moist for the first 24 hours.
The setting time of PROTEC-ION E, at 18 – 20º C, is 3 – 5 minutes. In hot weather the setting is accelerated, recommending to cool the water with ice. In cold weather there is a delay in setting, recommending the use of lukewarm water.
The dose of use is 3 parts of product for each part of water, with a yield of 615 – 620 cubic centimeters per kilogram of product.
PROTEC-ION E is applied in the elimination of leaks in concrete, retaining walls, walls with constant flow of water, walls with a water table above ground level, cisterns, garages, tunnels, etc. Before carrying out the repair, sanitize the surface by opening a 2 x 2 centimeter U-shaped groove. Apply the PROTEC-ION E paste when the mixture begins to heat up, maintaining pressure for a few minutes. Finish the repair by removing the remains of the material with a trowel or spatula.
When the water leak has extreme pressure, make a first stopper with tow, cork, etc., to reduce the pressure. Then proceed as in the previous case.
