What is it?
LUBRION-KDN (A) is a synthetic aerosol lubricant, specially formulated to substantially improve the performance of mechanical chain drive and pusher systems by reducing friction between metal components.
Its composition based on a dispersion of highly refined mineral oil with fluidising solvents and adhesion promoters on metal surfaces, has resulted in one of the most slippery lubricants known.
LUBRION-KDN (A) allows the lubrication of mechanisms subjected to extreme pressures, withstanding working peaks of up to 300º C. As it is not affected by acids or alkalis, it is highly resistant to contaminating, humid and aggressive atmospheres. In addition, it does not stain, repels dust and humidity and its durability is four times greater than other lubricants.
How is it applied?
Shake the aerosol vigorously and equip it with the extension tube push button supplied in the cap of the container.
Position the nozzle of the cannula about 5cm from the sprocket cassette and press the push button so that all the sprockets are completely impregnated. Leave the product to act for 20 to 30 seconds. Then start the traction mechanism by operating the pedals and shifting (chainrings and sprockets) in order to distribute the product evenly throughout the whole sprocket-sprocket-chainring system.
It is very important to use the cannula to avoid soaking the braking system and mechanism, especially if it is a disc braking system.
As a guideline, the yield of the product is 25gr. per application, and may vary depending on the conditions of the application.
Where does it apply?
LUBRION-KDN (A) is commonly used in bicycle repair and maintenance workshops, and is suitable for all types of bicycles: road, MTB, MTB, cruiser, fixie, etc.
Thanks to its physical-chemical properties, the daily use of LUBRION-KDN (A) favours the maintenance and extends the life of the sprocket-plate-chain system, as it protects it from the action of dust, humidity and aggressive chemical agents. For this reason, it is used by bicycle users after the cleaning operations they usually carry out after each ride.
