Is isopropyl alcohol effective in disinfecting surfaces contaminated by COVID-19?

“Isopropanol, also called isopropyl alcohol or 2-Propanol”. The documents consulted recommend the use of 75% isopropanol in formulations for hand disinfection and not for surfaces. Surface disinfection with 0.1% sodium hypochlorite or 62-71% ethanol (small surfaces) significantly reduces the infectivity of coronaviruses on surfaces within 1 minute exposure time. A similar effect is expected against SARS-CoV-2.
